   The Dominou Association from Romania ( non-governmental and not for profit) has been founded in 2004 and has 6 board members and 47 active members (teachers, trainers, volunteers, pedagogical advisers, young students).

   Our goals include supporting formal, non-formal and informal education of children, youth and adult people in order to acquire the necessary skills and personal development skills for future employment and active citizenship, including promoting of human rights, cultural diversity, equal opportunities and non-discrimination. 
The Dominou Association promotes educational and cultural strategy in the Dolj County. The goal of the association is to involve young people in all aspects of personal and professional development, by bringing young people together to work and learn, to share experiences and interact with their peers.
 The Association’s aim is to make people aware that culture and life long learning education are a vital part of their life.
We are working with all groups of people but most of our activities are addressed to young people from rural area. We develop different activities for encourage them to be active and creative because in our region there is a lack of involving young people with fewer opportunities in activities where they can value their skills and experience. 

ADEFIS Youth International, Spain, was established as a non-profit organization in order to promote equality and integration among young people, developing projects and programs aimed at preventing discrimination for any reason: birth, race, sex, religion or personal and social status, as stated in the Spanish Constitution; as well as in the implementation of projects and programs for the defense of the environment, sustainable development, culture, promotion of volunteering and awareness to the Spanish, European and third-countries.

 Also, to promote cooperation development and co-development in countries with low per capita income and extreme poverty.
It specializes in personal and professional development through socio-educational methods based on non-formal education, both at European and regional levels. It is highly qualified in the social field and extensive experience in the computer industry. Its headquarters has two premises located at street level in downtown Las Rozas and part of the rent is subsidized by the City-Hall of Las Rozas.

Isla local council, Malta, is a municipality that was set up by the department of local government in 1993. The mission statement and objectives are embedded in the Local Council Act – according to the Laws of Malta Chapter 363, a local council shall be a statutory local government authority having a distinct legal personality and capable of entering into contracts to the exercise and performance of its functions

 An important task is that all mentioned factors can be accessed by all members of society, including disabled and the elderly. Other functions include street lighting devolution, embellishments, awareness and upkeep of the environment, community work involving the residents participation and a number of local and international projects involving the participation of both the youth and the elderly sectors. Apart from carrying out its mandatory duties, the council has also strived to increase local awareness regarding the wealth of historic and cultural assets that lie within its walls and surrounding cities.  On a yearly basis, Isla LC organizes various festivals which include re-enactments, art exhibitions, fishing competitions, band marches, traditional folk music, guided tours, sports activities and boat trips around the grand harbour.
Throughout the last 3 years the Isla Local Council has set-up the Youth Local Council with the main aim being to develop civic sense amongst the youth generation for the responsability and the involvement within their locality. The board of Youth Local Council includes 3 members and more active young volunteers.

Karagözoğlu Youth and Sport Club, Turkey, was founded 2009 and has been operating in the field of youth and sports.  We organize sport, media courses and sports activities like basketball, volleyball, swimming, badminton, orienteering, trekking, any other outdoor activities and sport, healthy lifestyle (any subject which is focus on youths needs) seminars. We also organize art, music and mind games courses. In addition, we can organize courses according to youths and children’s needs.

 We work closely with regional schools and teachers.  We organize sport, social and cultural activities for youth to learn active participation in every sphere. (Traditional Turkish music instrument saz, guitar, dance, folk dance, sport courses in various branches…) also we organize children’s games and kit-flying festival in April 24th and Youth feast in September every year. Our target group is between 12 – 30 years old but we also work with adults. We have 50 females and 150 males active and licensed sportsman. Beside this every year more than 200 youth join our cultural activities. We have young volunteer trainers and they are willing. Our club has an Office in the city center of Edremit. We are active club about sports, intercultural, outdoor camping, environmental and democracy projects in our town.

Pr’Animação, Portugal is a non-profit organization, working in the interior part of Portugal, where the values of learning, culture, citizenship, solidarity, are not a part of the daily life of the local population. 

By promoting local activities and international mobility we try to create an empowering movement in the local community, promoting active citizenship and tolerance to diversity, putting them to think about different topics from the normal ones. We try to increase the self-esteem in a population which is losing the hope in better days. At least to put a smile in  their faces.
